Apples for Teachers – due Thursday 2/25

The OMPTO would like to provide dinner for our teachers and staff during the conference nights and we need your help to make it happen. You can “buy an apple” for your teacher and send in any monetary donation by Thursday, February 25th.  Additional apples can be printed 2010ApplesforTeachers and feel free to send as many as you and your student would like.  We will have them on display during the conference dinners for your teachers to see.

Book Donations Needed

Hopefully your family had a wonderful Winter break and had some time to clean off those book shelves to make room for new books.  Whether your child is an avid reader and you need to clear space for new favorites or your child has moved to a new reading level and you want to get rid of the old – we need your extras!  Send the chosen books into school January 11th-22nd in a box or bag labeled “Book Swap” and we will do the rest.  Each student can donate as many books as they would like and will in turn be given tickets (a maximum of 5) to trade for a “new” book during the Book Swap.  All books remaining at the end of the evening will be donated to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
